Acme Kastmaster Lure with Bucktail Teaser, Chrome Finish, 3 oz

Overview

For more than 50 years, Acme has stood for quality in metal fishing lures. The Kastmaster with Bucktail Teaser combines a chrome finish with a rugged brass body and a reliable single hook. This design stands up to salt spray and long days on the water, keeping a bright shine with repeated exposure to saltwater.

Designed to attract and hold, the lure balances flash, vibration, and action. The bucktail teaser adds lively movement and extra surface intrigue, while the chrome plating delivers strong visual contrast that can stand out in varied water conditions.

Durability and finish

• Field tested by expert anglers for real-world performance
• Built from solid brass for lasting strength and corrosion resistance
• Made with high-quality materials and a chrome finish that stays bright
• Resists breaking, bending, and corrosion; retains luster after saltwater exposure

Species and setups

• Ideal for striped bass, bluefish, jacks, lake trout, and salmon
• Designed for 15–30 lb test; works well with heavy spinning, surfcasting, and trolling in large bodies of water

How to fish

Cast beyond structure or breakers, then vary your retrieve to trigger strikes. Steady, slow pulls or short, interrupted cranks can help the lure’s flash and bucktail teaser respond to water movement. The setup is versatile enough for pier, boat, or shore-based fishing.

While results can vary by conditions, many anglers appreciate the combination of flash, buoyancy, and reliable hook retention. Use as part of a broader tackle strategy to explore different depths and water columns.
