• Chemically sharpened edge with a small barb for reliable hookups

What makes it effective

The 60-degree bend creates a distinct hook angle that can improve strike engagement when the lure is pulled through weeds, along contours, or near structure. The heavy wire and larger hook gap are designed to support bigger patterns and baits while maintaining strength under pressure. The black nickel finish minimizes glare, helping the lure ride naturally in clear or stained water.

Practical applications and setup ideas

• Weedless jigging in weedy zones, rocky bottoms, or mangrove zones
• Bottom bouncing along channel edges, ledges, or drop-offs
• Large predators in freshwater or saltwater environments with streamer lures

In the field, anglers report a confident feel in hand and predictable hook exposure during retrieves. While results depend on conditions and technique, this hook component can be a reliable part of a predator-focused rig when used with appropriate gear and patterns.

Material and finish

The PR370 uses a robust, heavy wire construction paired with a black nickel finish that resists wear and helps maintain a stealthy profile in the water. The chemically sharpened edge with a small barb is designed for solid, controlled hookups during combat-style retrieves.
