ArcticShield Body Insulator – Realtree Edge (Medium) | Warmth, Waterproof & Packable

Overview

Meet the ArcticShield Body Insulator in Realtree Edge, a compact, heavyweight layer designed to trap warmth without adding bulk. Built on RETAIN heat retention technology, it captures and returns a large share of your body heat, helping you stay comfortable during cold sits, dawn patrols, and late-season ventures.

What makes it warm and weather-ready

• RETAIN heat retention technology helps preserve warmth by returning heat toward the body, reducing cold spots.
• The outer shell is waterproof and windproof, with a waterproof laminate and taped seams to keep moisture out.
• The detachable hood snaps on or off, letting you tailor coverage to conditions.

Practical design for the field

• Large armhole zippers make it easy to slip in and out, even with gloves on.
• The boot-shaped foot area accommodates larger boots while maintaining a snug fit.
• The harness pass-through slot lets you wear a safety harness underneath when needed.

Lightweight, portable warmth

Weighing under 6 pounds, the suit folds into a compact package with a carry harness for simple transport. Its form is designed to minimize bulk, so you can move without hindrance while staying warm in stand, blind, or treestand scenes.

Real-life use scenarios

Picture early morning sit along a treestand edge, brushing wind from your face as you settle into Realtree Edge camouflage. Imagine a rainy scouting day when you want to stay dry without overheating. Or consider a chilly pre-dawn hike where a reliable, packable layer makes the difference between chilly discomfort and steady, focused waiting.

Care and longevity

• Clean with mild soap and air dry; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could affect the membrane.
• Store loosely to preserve flexibility and insulation performance when not in use.

Note: The ArcticShield Retain system focuses on warmth and mobility without promising specific results. Individual warmth perception can vary with activity level and weather.
