Berry Thunder Bugle Double Replacement Reeds – Medium Bull Elk | Berry Game Calls

Berry Thunder Bugle Replacement Reeds for Medium Bull Elk

Refine your elk calling with a two-layer latex reed design crafted to reproduce the sounds of an excited bull. The RT-G reeds combine thick and thin latex to deliver responsive tones, helping you explore realistic bugle textures in the field. Lightweight and compact, they’re ready when you are, so you can focus on your positioning, wind, and timing rather than gear hassles.

In practice, the reeds respond to your breath and pressure with crisp initial notes that can give way to fuller, resonant undertones. This dynamic range makes it easier to experiment with different call sequences, from short attention-getters to longer, rolling bugles, across varied terrain and weather conditions. While sound can be influenced by external factors, the two-layer latex design aims to provide a reliable baseline for authentic elk calls during a hunt.

Two-layer latex design

The RT-G construction relies on two latex layers—thick and thin—to shape tone and response. This setup is intended to mirror the dynamic qualities of an excited bull, offering a sharp onset and a robust finish that can carry through brush and breeze.

• Two-layer latex for varied tonal options
• Thick/thin blend to enhance bite and resonance

Field use and practical benefits

Designed for medium bull elk calls, these replacement reeds provide a convenient way to refresh your setup without swapping entire components. The compact two-pack means you’re prepared for multiple sit days or weather changes, helping you maintain consistent performance when every second counts.

Keep in mind that results can be influenced by environment and technique. The reeds are a tool to expand your repertoire and fine-tune your tone, rather than a guaranteed outcome.
