Description
Bold, backpack-ready meals for the trail
When you’re navigating mountains or backcountry trails, dependable fueling matters. The BIGHORN Mountain Food Carnivore Expedition Pack bundles eight rugged pouches into a compact kit, delivering rich, hearty flavors and substantial nutrients to power your day on the trail.
What’s inside and how it helps
This pack features two pouches each of four crowd-pleasing meals: Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork & Beans; Chicken & Mushroom Marsala with Pasta; Butter Chicken & Rice; and Spicy Mexican Birria & Rice. That’s 16 servings across 8 pouches, totaling about 280 g of protein and 4,760 calories for the entire kit.
- Protein-rich meals can support energy on demanding treks and help you feel satisfied between climbs.
- Convenient in-pouch dining means fewer dishes and faster hydration after a long day on the trail.
Each meal is designed for easy outdoor use: add water to rehydrate, seal, and eat directly from the pouch. The meals are lightweight and adaptable for camping trips, backpacking, fishing days, hunting weekends, or any backcountry adventure.
Quality, convenience, and sustainability
Made in the USA, these freeze-dried meals use domestically sourced ingredients and are packed in pouches built for travel. Packaging is fully recyclable through TerraCycle, helping minimize waste on the trail.
In real-world use, these adventure meals offer a protein-forward option that can fit into flexible trip plans—from long weekend hikes to multi-day climbs—without sacrificing bold flavor or satisfaction.
