BioLite Dash 450 Rechargeable 450-Lumen Running Headlamp, Midnight Grey

Overview

Meet the BioLite Dash 450, a compact running headlamp designed for those who prize clarity, comfort, and dependable performance after dark. Built with BioLite’s award-winning 3D SlimFit Construction, it sits close to the forehead with a front profile of just 10 mm and a featherlight 78 g weight. The result is a headlamp that feels almost weightless, helping you focus on your pace and surroundings without distraction. A moisture-wicking strap adds cooling comfort, making it suitable for long sessions on trails or urban routes.

Clear, far-reaching illumination

The Dash 450 delivers a robust 450 lumens with a 90-meter beam, engineered to illuminate the path ahead and guide your line of sight through twists and uneven terrain. An optimized lens design enhances optics for sharper, more focused light where you need it most, helping you stay oriented without eye fatigue on extended runs or night rides.

Safety and 360-degree visibility

For low-light safety, a rear red light and a reflective band provide 360-degree visibility. This combination helps you remain noticeable to others from behind, whether you’re sharing a city sidewalk or navigating a winding forest trail after dusk.

Featherweight comfort and fit

The Dash 450’s ultra-lightweight chassis and slim 10 mm front panel mean it rests flush on the forehead, reducing bounce and wobble. The adjustable headband is designed to stay in place during fast sections or rough terrain, offering a secure feel without pressure points.

Power, charge, and endurance

With a USB-C rechargeable battery, you can leave alkaline batteries behind. A full charge takes about two hours, and you’ll enjoy up to 60 hours of runtime on low or about 3 hours on high, with a 1-hour reserve mode to bridge gaps during longer outings.

Durability and warranty

Designed to weather the elements, the Dash 450 carries IPX4 water resistance and a 3-year warranty, providing reassurance for unpredictable conditions and frequent use.

Real-world use cases

Ideal for early-morning trail runs, late-night commutes, or fitness sessions after sunset, the Dash 450 offers confident illumination and practical safety features that adapt to your routine without demanding adjustment or compromise.
