Description
Overview
The BKK A-BR-2117 Hybrid Inline Heavy Circle Hook is the inline-point evolution of the classic SS Heavy Circle. Built to blend a proven silhouette with modern features, it emphasizes smooth action, reliable hookups, and regulation-friendly design for targeted saltwater and freshwater fishing.
Why this hook stands out
- Inline-point design aligned with current fisheries and tournament rules
- Super Slide coating for enhanced penetration performance and reduced friction during a strike
- 45-degree up-turned eye to ease snelling and improve line flow for cleaner rigs
By pairing a familiar circle-hook profile with an inline point, this hook aims for controlled, predictable hooksets while supporting catch-and-release practices. The combination is designed to help anglers maintain steady rigs and smooth line tension as strikes occur, without relying on aggressive settings.
Real-world use cases
- Striped bass setups where a reliable circle hook supports careful handling and release
- Live bait or soft-plastic rigs that benefit from a steady, natural drift and a clean penetrative action
Pack details and durability
This 7-pack offers ample hooks for multiple rigs or trips, with construction built to withstand repeated casting and varied water conditions. The inline point and coating are designed to provide consistent performance across days of fishing, helping you stay prepared without overpromising results.
Takeaway for anglers
- Possibility of improved hookup reliability with a regulation-friendly inline point
- Potential for smoother casting and penetration thanks to the Super Slide coating
- Compatibility with catch-and-release workflows, especially for striped bass and similar species
