Description
Overview: Dry, Durable, Kid-Ready Outdoor Gear
The Calamus WaveWalker Chest Waders for kids are built for hands-on exploration—muddy banks, shallow streams, and splashy creek days. With a 100% waterproof design and kid-friendly comfort, they help young anglers stay focused on the adventure rather than the weather or the water.
The core protection comes from 100% Nylon Taslon fabric with a PVC membrane and a durable DWR finish. Reinforced taped seams and a seamless wader design further reduce the chances of leaks, so little bodies stay dry as they move, squat, and wade through varied terrain.
- 100% waterproof protection through robust fabric and a waterproof membrane
- DWR moisture resistance helps keep external moisture at bay
- Reinforced taped seams plus a seamless design enhance protection during active use
Comfort, Durability, and Longevity
Designed for all-day wear, these waders feature soft, comfortable materials and twice the tear resistance of some competitors. Double-layer knee pads add abrasion protection for crawls, kneeling, and brushy creek beds, making them suitable for energetic kids who explore every corner of the outdoors.
- Soft, comfortable materials for extended wear
- Double-layer knee pads for extra protection in rugged conditions
- Rugged durability withstands outdoor adventures over time
Storage, Fit, and Mobility
Practical features support a secure, customizable fit and easy gear management. An external zippered pocket keeps small items accessible, while three D-rings on the chest and back enable quick attachment of accessories. Wide, adjustable shoulder and waist straps with soft shoulder pads deliver a comfortable, secure fit for growing kids.
- External pocket and D-rings for storage and gear attachment
- Adjustable straps with soft pads for all-day comfort
- Secure, customizable fit supports active movement
Footwear, Safety, and Convenience
The boots are built from upgraded PVC material—twice the lifespan of standard waders—and are designed for cold conditions with lasting flexibility. A deep, aggressive tread provides solid traction, while EVA insoles wick moisture and cushion against impact for comfort on long days by the water. A functional safety touch includes an H-shaped nylon elastic strap that doubles as a grab handle, plus a wader hanger for fast drying and organized storage.
- Premium slip-resistant PVC boots with long-lasting durability
- Moisture-wicking EVA insoles for comfort
- Safety features include grab handle and hanger for easy transport and drying
