Description
Overview
Meet Calamus WaveWalker Kids Chest Waders, a thoughtfully designed option for young outdoor explorers who love streams, ponds, and rivers. These boots-on waders pair lightweight construction with robust waterproofing, so kids can focus on the moment—whether they’re wading a shallow bend, splashing along the bank, or helping a guardian with gear.
Waterproofing that travels with them
Built from 100% Nylon Taslon with a PVC membrane, the WaveWalker waders deliver reliable waterproof protection. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish adds moisture resistance, while reinforced taped seams and a seamless wader design help minimize leaks during active days by the water.
- 100% Waterproof protection from fabric and membrane
- Sealed, taped seams reduce water intrusion
- DWR finish enhances moisture resistance during wet outings
Comfort, durability, and kid-friendly design
Designed for all-day wear, these waders use soft, comfortable materials and feature double-layer reinforced knee pads for extra abrasion resistance. They offer impressive tear resistance to stand up to rugged outdoor moments, from riverbank surveys to splashy river trips.
- Soft, comfortable interior for long wear
- Double-layer knee pads protect knees during kneeling tasks
- Twice the tear resistance of many competitors
Smart storage and a secure fit
Storage and attachment are simple: an external zippered pocket keeps small gear handy, and three D-rings on the chest and back enable quick gear attachment. Wide, adjustable shoulder and waist straps with soft shoulder pads ensure a secure, comfortable fit for active days.
- External zippered pocket for essentials
- Three D-rings for gear attachment
- Adjustable shoulder and waist straps with soft pads for comfort
Safe, slip-resistant footing
The boots are upgraded PVC, designed for cold-weather flexibility and longer life. An exceptionally deep tread offers solid slip resistance on varied terrain. EVA insoles wick moisture and cushion feet for lasting comfort through the day.
- Premium slip-resistant boot tread for stability
- Moisture-wicking EVA insoles for comfort
- Flexible PVC boots for cold conditions
Care and convenience
Includes a wader hanger for fast drying and proper storage, helping extend the lifespan of the gear between adventures. This setup aims to keep kids dry, comfortable, and ready for the next outing without drama.
