CAMP Corsa Race 50 cm – Ultra-Light Pimple for Ski Mountaineering Competitions

Ultra-light design built for competition-ready ski mountaineering

The CAMP Corsa Race 50 cm stands out as the certified lightest pimple in the world. In hand it feels nearly weightless, a tiny package that promises balanced stiffness and precise control on the snow. Its 50 cm length is chosen to comply with ISMF regulations, helping you align with official race rules and consistent pole plants on varied terrain.

Engineering that matters on the mountain

• Aluminium shaft provides a strong, rigid feel while keeping weight to a minimum.
• Reduced overall design minimizes bulk, enabling quick, confident pole plants on steep sections.
• Designed without nylon inserts to prevent snow from accumulating and compromising performance.
• Headboard includes an opening for attaching the Corsa Leash (sold separately) for optional safety in dynamic descents.

Real-life use scenarios

Picture a fast ascent through powder and crust, where every gram saved translates to easier climbs. The 50 cm length supports stable balance during aggressive kick turns, while the light construction reduces fatigue over long races or tours.

• Competition climbs where weight savings matter and quick handling is prized.
• Training sessions focused on rhythm, pacing, and efficient pole plants.
• Alpine tours or races that require compact gear yet dependable performance.

Leash compatibility and optional accessories

The headboard opening is designed to accommodate the Corsa Leash, a separate accessory that can be added for additional security during critical segments of a run.
