COAST HL8R 2000 Lumen Rechargeable Headlamp - Pure Beam & Twist Focus | Coast

Meet the COAST HL8R 2000 Lumen Rechargeable Headlamp, designed to illuminate hands-free tasks with clarity and precision. The included rechargeable battery pack can be charged on the headlamp or separately, and it can be swapped for a four AA alkaline pack when outlets are scarce. This flexibility lets you tailor power and runtime to your activities, whether you’re camping, repairing, or exploring after dark.

At the core of the HL8R is COAST’s PURE BEAM focusing system, paired with TWIST FOCUS technology. You can smoothly transition from an ultra-wide flood to a long-reaching spot, with a transition halo to help maintain awareness as the beam narrows. The side-mounted light control dial provides quick access to high, medium, and low outputs, making it easy to adapt brightness and run time to your surroundings.

Versatile performance you can rely on

• Rechargeable: Included Lithium-Ion pack, or swap in 4 AA alkaline batteries for flexible power options.
• Brightest in its class: 2000 lumens with a beam that reaches up to 300 meters for far-off targets.
• Efficient runtimes: Up to 8 hours on High, 15 hours on Medium, and 65 hours on Low to suit pace and needs.
• Pure Beam focusing optic: Quick shifts from a wide flood to a distant view with a halo for context.

• ANSI/FL1 testing provides a measurable performance reference.

Durability is embedded in the design, so you can rely on the HL8R during outdoor adventures or demanding tasks. The unit is built to withstand challenging conditions, and COAST’s commitment to quality is reflected in its lightweight yet rugged profile. It’s tested to ANSI/FL1 standards and supported by a lifetime warranty, providing peace of mind for those who demand reliability.

Whether you’re setting up camp, performing roadside repairs, or navigating a late-night trail, the HL8R offers hands-free illumination that adapts to your environment. The combination of high-output brightness, long runtimes, and flexible power options means you can plan around your needs without being tethered to a single power source. While results depend on factors like mode and battery choice, the HL8R presents a practical, capable option for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals looking for versatile lighting without complicating their gear.
