Cortland Bonefish Floating Fly Line WF6F – Made in USA – White / Sky Blue / Pale Yellow

Overview

The Cortland Bonefish line is a purpose built floating fly line designed for saltwater flats. This WF6F model pairs a balanced profile with a color blend of white, sky blue and pale yellow to help you track line movement while staying focused on presentation. It aims to support precise, practical casting in a variety of light and water conditions.

Design and tapered performance

At the heart of the Bonefish line is an aggressive front taper that helps your rod load efficiently for close range shots. An elongated rear taper provides better loop control when you need to carry line for longer targets, aiding smoother rhythm on longer casts. The combination is crafted to feel predictable under common saltwater scenarios.

• Aggressive Front Taper for quick loading
• Smooth casting to reduce line friction and fatigue
• High accuracy for precise presentations
• Made in the USA with attention to manufacturing quality

The line is floating with a generous 105 feet of length and a monofilament core, designed to deliver buoyancy and steadier behavior as you mend and align your casts against wind and chop. The WF6F designation signals a weight forward setup tuned for mid range anglers working bonefish flats and similar saltwater environments.

Practical use cases on the water

• Close range bonefish targets on shallow flats where quick loading matters
• Longer carries across the water for targets a bit farther out, with controlled loops

Color visibility on the water is a practical benefit, helping you observe line control during mends and adjust your presentation as conditions change. The blend of white, sky blue and pale yellow is chosen to offer visibility without dominating glare, supporting a calm casting rhythm on busy days.

If you value a reliable, easy to cast line for saltwater environments, the Bonefish line offers a balanced combination of loading power, line control and accuracy.
