Description
Unmatched premium fluorocarbon tippet for trout
The Cortland Ultra Premium Fluorocarbon Tippet is the result of rigorous testing and field work. This tippet is designed to deliver consistent performance across water types while maintaining a refined feel in your hands and on the water.
The formulation balances knot strength, suppleness, and abrasion resistance to help you stay connected with even spry trout. The proven ratio ensures you can cast with finesse yet rely on the tippet to endure underwater obstacles.
Core advantages
- PERFECT BALANCE — a carefully calibrated mix that balances knot strength, suppleness, and abrasion resistance for reliable cast and fight performance.
- UNRIVALED RATIO — high abrasion resistance without sacrificing nimbleness for delicate presentations.
- PLASMA FINISH — delivers controlled shock absorption during hooksets while maintaining line strength.
- VERSATILE PERFORMANCE — excels in nymphing, dry fly, and streamer setups across various water types.
- PREMIUM FORMULATION — the result of extensive research, development, and field testing for trout tippet reliability.
On the water in real world use
Designed for fresh water, the tippet offers a predictable feel when you tighten after a drift and responds with steady line loading to help keep flies where you want them. Expect confident knot seating even under tension and a line that holds up across common trout techniques.
Tips for best results
- Match the tippet diameter and length to your flies and leader for a balanced presentation.
- Store dry and handle gently to keep the plasma finish performing at its best.
- Practice knot tying to ensure secure connections that stay tight in the fight.
Elevate your angling with Cortland Ultra Premium Fluorocarbon Tippet, a premium choice for anglers chasing trout on fresh water.
