The DAIWA 22 Caldia LT MQ 1000D Front Drag is a versatile spinning reel built for anglers who value a responsive feel and reliable performance on the water. Leveraging Daiwa’s MagSealed technology, it helps keep water and debris from reaching the gearbox, supporting smoother operation and longer-lasting performance in varied conditions. Its compact, lightweight profile makes it a practical choice for all‑day casting, without sacrificing strength where it matters most.
Why anglers choose Caldia LT MQ 1000D
- LT (Light & Tough) construction blends a featherweight feel with real durability, ideal for all‑day use.
- ZAION V MQ monocoque reel body reduces weight while maintaining rigidity for efficient, smooth retrieves.
- MagSealed body construction minimizes water and grit intrusion into the gearbox for steadier drag and line handling.
- Six ball bearings (including one CRBB) deliver consistent rotation and a reliable retrieve under different loads.
- ZAION V AIR ROTOR further lightens the reel, contributing to a balanced casting experience.
- TOUGH DIGIGEAR gears are designed for durable gear meshing and long-term performance.
- Infinite Anti Reverse keeps the spool locked in the desired direction for solid hook sets.
- ATD braking system provides gradual, dependable drag response for controlled stops.
- Cross Wrap line lay improves line management, reducing twists and tangles during practice and on the water.
- Forged ABS aluminum long cast spool supports long, accurate casts with a strong line release.
- AIR BAIL roll bar and Twist Buster II line roller help minimize line friction and enhance smoothness.
- Machined aluminum screw-in crank offers solid, repeatable cranking torque and a premium feel.
