Daiwa 22EXIST SF2000SS-P Spinning Reel – Super Finesse for Precise Angling

Meet the Daiwa 22EXIST SF2000SS-P Spinning Reel — Super Finesse

In the palm of your hand, this reel invites precision. The SF2000SS-P blends a refined design with a dedicated finesse mindset, tailored for anglers who chase lighter lures, nuanced line control, and more deliberate presentations on bass, trout, and light saltwater setups. It feels responsive, with a quiet cadence that rewards subtle inputs and patient technique, offering a path toward more controlled casts and smoother retrieves without promising guaranteed outcomes.

Rooted in the SF (Super Finesse) idea, the EXIST platform pushes finesse forward with a compact, balanced feel and deliberate action. On the water, you’ll notice how the reel settles into your grip and how the drag and gearing respond to your lure’s micro-movements, supporting a more natural presentation across a range of finesse tactics.

On-water feel and performance

The reel’s 4.6 gear ratio and a winding length of 60 cm per turn yield a smooth cadence that helps you pace retrieves with precision. A 6.6 lb (3 kg) drag provides confident, adjustable resistance without abrupt changes, while the 135 g weight keeps the setup light in hand and balanced at the rod tip. Eleven bearings contribute to a silky rotation, reducing wobble and helping line tracking stay true through casts and retrieves.

• Responsive control: the reel translates angler input into deliberate lure motion, aiding precise placement and feel.
• Stable line management: robust bearings and tuned drag promote consistent line handling in varied conditions.
