Description
Overview
The DAIWA 23 Ninja LT1000 spinning reel blends featherweight construction with dependable strength, making it a compelling choice for spin anglers pursuing predator species. At roughly 205 g, this reel stays responsive in hand without sacrificing durability, and its compact profile supports prolonged casting sessions.
Engineered for sensitivity, it helps you feel subtle bites and react quickly, while maintaining a balanced feel that doesn’t tax the wrist after a long day on the water.
Why anglers choose the Ninja LT1000
Key design ideas work together to improve casting reach, line control, and retrieval smoothness. The lightweight airdrive rotor subtly shifts spool balance away from the front toward the rear, boosting overall balance and fingertip feedback. The result is better bait feel and quicker reaction times when a strike happens.
The Duro Digigear gearbox delivers strong recoil and enduring, quiet operation. The new Airdrive mount reduces weight and cable clutter, while the arm design keeps lines tidy and reduces snag risk during retrieves. The ATD-L brake releases under load with controlled resistance, enhancing safety and predictability under pressure.
Longcast ABS aluminium spool with an optimized edge minimizes friction for smoother casts and greater distance. Twistbuster III keeps braided lines from kinking or flattening on the spool, preserving line integrity during rapid retrieves.
