Description
DAIWA 24 Crosscast 45 SCW QD 5000LD — Long-Distance Big Pit Carp Reel
Designed for dedicated anglers who chase distance without sacrificing control, the DAIWA Crosscast 45 SCW QD blends durable construction with advanced casting geometry. The reel's balanced profile and precision brake invite confident retrieves across long sessions on challenging waters, making it a versatile choice for carp and other large freshwater targets.
Long-range performance you can feel
The 45 mm spool stroke, paired with SCW (Slow Cross Wrap) line lay, helps achieve longer casts with stable line management. The aluminum casting spool handles heavy lines and big frictions with composure, letting you reach distant margins and open-water targets.
Precision braking, adaptive control
The Quick Drag (QD) brake system offers rapid adjustments to changing conditions, so you can respond to shifting winds, currents, or fish behavior. The combination of QDM and Infinite Anti-Reverse backstop provides reliable control during the strike and drill phases.
Durability and low-maintenance finish
No Paint, untreated surface resists chipping and wear, maintaining a clean look after tough use. This finish reduces maintenance while preserving the reel's visual appeal on the water.
Build quality and user-focused details
Key components emphasize stability and smooth operation: ZAION V AIR ROTOR for lightness and rigidity, DIGIGEAR II for efficient power transmission and quiet running, and a machined aluminum handle for precise power transfer. Features like Twist Buster II, HIP line clip, and manual bail operation aid line management and reliable performance.
