Deps Bull Shooter 160 Glide Bait - Slow-Sinking Lure for Scum Perch (#15)

Meet the deps Bull Shooter 160 Glide Bait

The Bull Shooter 160 is a slow-sinking lure designed for controlled, lifelike presentation. Measuring 160mm and weighing 3.7 oz, this model balances reach and balance for longer casts and precise retrieves. Notably, the lure is non-rattle, offering a quiet, cohesive profile that allows the action to speak for itself rather than relying on audible cues. The result is a versatile tool that fits a range of conditions—from calm mornings to cover where scum perch may lurk.

Glide action with quiet presence

With a glide-first design, the lure tracks a controlled, side-to-side path. Pauses and steady retrieves mimic a wounded, slow-moving prey, inviting exploration by predators near structure or in mid-water columns. The non-rattle build reduces underwater noise, helping fish notice movement and silhouette rather than sound.

• Slow-sinking profile lets you work depths where fish feed at a comfortable pace
• Balanced 3.7 oz weight supports long casts and stable tracking
• 160 mm length creates a lifelike silhouette appealing to perch and other predators
• Quiet, non-rattle body emphasizes movement over noise

Real-world fishing scenarios

Try this lure along weed edges, timber, and rocky drop-offs. Its slow sink keeps the lure in strike zones longer when you use a steady retrieve, a slow pause, or a subtle twitch. It’s well-suited for clear water and pressured fisheries where subtlety matters.

• Weedlines and edge cover: work with a steady, shallow-to-mid retrieve
• Structure hunts: reach crevices where perch might hold
• Pause-and-go techniques: let the lure suspend briefly to trigger hesitations
• Boat or shore casting: stable balance aids accurate casts from various angles
