In the field

Anglers report accurate casts from both shorelines and boats. The 2.9-inch size fits easily into standard bass tackle, and the lure pairs well with commonly used rods and lines. Try clear or stained water for optimal visibility.

How to fish it

Cast beyond structure, count down to the desired depth, then begin a steady retrieve with occasional pauses. The sinking action helps you cover mid-depth zones where bass are likely to feed. Adjust retrieve speed based on water clarity and temperature.

Rinse after use in saltwater, dry thoroughly, and store away from direct sun. A durable coating helps keep the Magic Gill finish vibrant for many trips.
