Description
Overview
Meet the FREGITO Nylon Multfilament Cast Net, an American-style, hand-thrown net designed for versatility in both saltwater and freshwater settings. Crafted from 100% nylon multifilament fabric, this net emphasizes a strong, densely knitted profile and a long service life that holds up to regular use along piers, boats, and shoreline coves.
Premium construction and sinking performance
The mesh is galvanized nylon multifilament, with weights at about one pound per foot to promote a steady, reliable sink. The galvanized finish delivers rust and corrosion resistance, helping the net withstand salt air and water without compromising its structure.
Effective cast and coverage
The standard 3/8-inch mesh (knot to knot) is tuned to maximize catches of a wide range of bait species. A thick, long polyethylene hand rope supports longer, farther casts, enabling you to reach larger water areas where bait balls often form.
- Dense knit for durability and long life, reducing wear from repeated throws.
- Stainless steel swivel and wristlet provide a smooth haul with reduced wrist chafing.
Usage notes and care
Note: the surface is coated with vegetable oil to resist saltwater corrosion. The scent may be noticeable, but it does not indicate a quality issue. Rinsing with fresh water after use can help minimize odor and maintain flexibility.
