Gambler RT13003 Ribbon Tail June Bug — Bass Lure with Gambler Bite Attractant

Feel the action with every cast

The Gambler RT13003 Ribbon Tail June Bug lure is designed to deliver a lively, lifelike swim that bass notice. Its ribbon tail creates a wide, undulating wake that imitates fleeing prey, helping you cover water efficiently and improve strike visibility in murky water. Even when conditions vary, this lure maintains a strong presence thanks to a balanced body and proven color options. June Bug is just one of several colors anglers rely on to match forage and light conditions.

Key design benefits you’ll notice

• Excellent swimming action from a tail crafted for maximum motion and lifelike feel
• Wider base reduces snagging by keeping the lure from wrapping around grass and stick-ups
• Gambler Bite attractant is embedded to attract fish and encourage longer holds

Real-world use and tactics

Cast along weed edges, lily pads, docks, and submerged structures where bass hide. Use a steady retrieve for a natural glide, or insert pauses and quick hops to trigger reaction bites in both clear and stained water.

• Weed-edge presentation: keep a light pressure so the tail remains lively while you pull away from cover
• Color and water tactic: pick a proven hue that stands out in your water clarity

Rigging tips and presentation

Try common bass setups such as a Texas rig or weedless rig to minimize snags. A 3/0 to 5/0 hook size pairs well with typical forage sizes, while a slightly taut line helps maintain tail action without masking the lure’s movement.

Notes on size and color options
