Greys Fin Fly Fishing Reel 5/6wt – Durable Enclosed-Frame Reel with Disc Drag

Overview

The Greys Fin fly fishing reel blends reliable performance with thoughtful engineering, offering a durable, precise experience at an approachable price. Crafted through die-cast aluminum and finished with care, it delivers a confident, smooth feel in hand and consistent operation on the water. Designed for modern anglers who value both function and value, the Fin aims to be a trusted companion from first cast to the last drift.

The reel pairs a modern enclosed frame with a large arbor spool to promote fast line retrieval and reduce line memory. The rulon disc drag system is engineered to deliver smooth, predictable resistance during fights, helping anglers focus on technique and position rather than equipment glitches. The combination of robust construction and refined tolerances creates a dependable platform for a wide range of river conditions and fishing styles.

Build, feel, and longevity

The Fin’s body is made from durable injection-molded aluminum, then machine-finished for a precise fit and a clean, professional appearance. A heavy-duty paint finish protects the reel against wear from splash, sand, and exposure to the elements, keeping it looking and performing well over time. The externally simple lines and solid construction give a tactile sense of strength without sacrificing balance in hand.

Care and transport are straightforward. The reel is designed for simple left- or right-hand retrieve conversion to fit your preferred setup, and an included reel pouch helps protect the reel during transport and storage. For anglers who value quick setup, reliable line control, and a balanced feel, the Greys Fin offers a compelling combination of features without excessive complexity.
