Hayabusa EX124 Real Shrimp 6-Hook Sabiki Rig (Size 16) – 30lb Main / 22lb Branch

Hayabusa EX124 Real Shrimp 6-Hook Sabiki Rig

The Hayabusa EX124 Real Shrimp 6-Hook Sabiki Rig is built to translate natural bait behavior into more confident presentations on the water. Realistic shrimp as a lure, combined with a six-hook layout, encourages varied movement as the rig drifts or descends. The result is a working rig that invites curiosity from predatory fish while you focus on technique and timing rather than constantly re-rigging.

Six hooks for broader bait coverage

Designed to maximize bait exposure, the six hooks give you multiple angles in one setup. If a bite comes at depth or from a different direction, you have a better chance of hooking up without interrupting your drift.

• Six-hook arrangement increases bait coverage and potential strike zones
• Real shrimp presentation adds natural appeal in the water
• Size 16 hooks balance lure exposure with snag resistance

Materials and durability

The main line is a robust monofilament, offering dependable strength with a touch of stretch that can smooth out small tugs. The branch lines are fluorocarbon, chosen for their low visibility and solid abrasion resistance near structure or rocky bottoms.

• Main line: reliable mono for control and flexibility
• Branch lines: subtle, abrasion-resistant fluorocarbon

Key specifications at a glance

Hook size 16 pairs with a 30 lb mono main line and 22 lb fluorocarbon branches — a balanced, field-ready setup for reliable casting and retrieval in varied conditions.

Practical use and setup tips

Ideal for nearshore and offshore spots, especially around pilings, reefs, jetties, and school concentrations. Cast and drift with the current, let the rig descend, then manage tension to feel subtle bites. If water clarity is a concern, the fluorocarbon branches help keep the rig discreet while the six hooks maintain action.

In practice, you may notice increased bite opportunities when currents shift or wind ripples the surface, as the rig presents bait in multiple planes and depths. The combination of real shrimp and multiple hooks supports a versatile approach without frequent re-rigs.
