Hayabusa S-510E-6 Saba-Aurora Sabiki Rig – Multi-Species Fishing Lures

Overview

Meet the Hayabusa S-510E-6 Saba-Aurora Sabiki rig, a compact multi-hook setup designed for quick, accurate drops and dependable re-baiting action. Its six to nine hooks provide a broad feeding presentation that can cover schooling bait as they move through the water column.

What makes it versatile

Whether you are chasing mackerel, herring, smelt, or Spanish mackerel, this Sabiki kit supports a range of species. You can also adapt for larger targets by using a modified chum cage filled with whole shrimp or small squid. The dressed hooks and flexible cage options help tailor the rig to currents, depths, and bite conditions.

• Targets multiple species with a single rig
• Option to upgrade with a shrimp or squid-based chum cage
• Compact packaging with a single item per package for easy storage
• Light action, easy handling on 6 to 9 ft rods

In practice, anglers describe a confident rhythm: drop the rig to depth where fish are schooling, then lift the rod tip slowly to scatter chum downward. When the water clears, drop again to join the feeding frenzy. If you don’t see a strike, reel in, replenish the chum cage, and try again. A slow, controlled reel after a hookup helps protect the mouth and can support additional bites from the same school.

To widen your options, Hayabusa offers Sabiki lures designed for larger game species such as yellowtail, barracuda, bonito, and sea bass. Attach a chum cage filled with whole shrimp or small squid to the top of the Sabiki rig and let the current drift the lure into active schools. For bottom fish, dressed hooks can be paired with various cut bait to suit conditions. Overall, Hayabusa delivers a complete SABIKI line that supports a range of water types and fishing styles.
