Weather-ready warmth at your fingertips

The Frostbite Hand-Warmer from Helikon-Tex is a windproof sleeve designed for times when gloves are inconvenient or when you need precise tool control. Built with StormStretch fabric, it shields against gusts while you handle gear, photography equipment, or field tools. This piece is part of the Outback Line, crafted for dependable performance in challenging outdoor environments.

How it works

At the core lies Climashield Apex 67g insulation that keeps heat close to the body and remains effective even when moisture is present. The interior features a textured polyester pile with long bristles that helps trap heat and speeds up warming, turning chilly moments into comfortable minutes of warmth.

  • StormStretch fabric blocks wind with a flexible outer layer
  • Climashield Apex 67g provides lightweight insulation to keep warmth near the skin
  • Moisture resistance helps warmth persist when damp or sweaty
  • Interior pile with long bristles enhances heat retention and faster warming
  • Internal pocket accommodates a chemical warmer for extra heat on demand
  • Two external pockets with YKK zippers offer secure storage
  • Detachable 25 mm strap enables neck carry or belt wear
  • Slik clip buckles allow attachment to MOLLE or PALS gear

Real-world use

Designed for nature photographers, sport shooters, and personnel requiring warmth without sacrificing dexterity, the Frostbite can be worn under or over layers. Its MOLLE/PALS compatibility and versatile carry options support a wide range of field setups.

  • Belt length: 79 - 136 cm / 31 - 53.5 in; weight: 0.62 lb
  • Bag dimensions: 23 x 36 cm / 9.1 x 14.2 in; StormStretch exterior
  • Outshell: Nylon 98%, Elastane 2% ; Pile: Polyester 100% ; Insulation: Polyester 100%
