Higdon Outdoors 1/4 Strut Jake Turkey Decoy – Realistic Posture for Gobblers

Boost Your Turkey-Hunting Setup with a Realistic Quarter-Strut Jake Decoy

Designed to emulate a confident young gobbler, the Higdon Outdoors 1/4 Strut Jake Turkey Decoy combines meticulous feathering with a simple, field-ready form. This compact prop can be deployed quickly and left to do some of the talking on your behalf, creating a lifelike presence in open ground, along field edges, or through brushy clearings.

Realism starts with the High Definition Hyper Feathering process, which highlights individual feathers and subtle color variation. This attention to detail helps the decoy convey posture and presence from a distance, allowing wary birds to notice it without needing to be in close proximity. The one-piece full body design eliminates fiddling with loose parts, and the integrated stake storage keeps your kit organized for the next hunt. A decoy bag is included, making transport to your chosen spot straightforward and efficient.

Key Benefits in the Field

• Realistic 1/4 Strut Jake with high definition feathering creates a convincing silhouette from a distance.
• Simple one-piece design with integrated stake storage reduces setup time and gear clutter.
• Universal Apex stake motion system adds life and natural movement when wind shifts or adjustments are made.
• Ultra-lightweight yet durable hard body stands up to rugged field use and repeated setups.
• Increased visibility and lifelike posturing help attract stubborn or distant gobblers to your location.

How It Helps Your Hunt

Whether you want to entice hens into range or encourage a wary tom to approach, this decoy provides a believable target that complements calls and terrain. Its compact form and included bag make transportation between spots easy, while the motion system adds a subtle realism that can shift a bird’s interest from curiosity to approach.

Practical Scenarios

Place the decoy near a field edge where gobblers often travel, angled toward expected approach routes. Use in mixed cover to break up sightlines and pair with light calling for a natural sequence that feels like a real flock movement.
