Higdon Outdoors Alpha Magnum Goose Floater Decoy Canada | Realistic Canada Goose

Realism that draws geese from a distance

The Higdon Outdoors Alpha Magnum Goose Floater is engineered to closely resemble a Canada Goose, combining lifelike posture with a rich, multi-layer color scheme. Higdon’s proprietary paint process and deep feather carving deliver natural textures and tones that look authentic in varied light, helping your spread stand out on open water or along marshy edges.

What you get in the 4-pack

• Four decoys with distinct flocked heads: Tru-Rester, Mid-Sentry, Tru-Walker, and Tru-Sentry for varied silhouettes
• Removable, flooded heads for flexible arrangement and compact storage
• Forward-weighted, short-stringing keel that promotes a natural float pose across water depths
• Magnum-sized bodies designed for maximum visibility in bright light or distant horizons

Why this setup matters in the field

• The oversized magnums help draw attention from longer distances, which can be advantageous on large open waters or along field edges
• 4 distinct head styles create variety within the spread, supporting realistic group movement and posture changes as geese approach

Deployment tips for best results

• Line decoys along typical flight paths, mixing directions to mimic natural geese behavior
• Angle heads toward the wind and vary the poses to suggest a dynamic, real flock

Overall, these decoys offer a convincing blend of color, texture, and form that can complement a practical, non-pressuring setup. While outcomes depend on conditions and technique, the Alpha Magnum lineup is designed to support a believable, inviting spread.
