Higdon Outdoors Flats Mallard Silhouette Decoys – 12 Pack with Stakes

Overview

Higdon Outdoors Flats deliver convincing mallard silhouettes designed for waterfowl hunters who value portability and performance. These standard silhouettes are made from lightweight 1300g corrugated plastic, balancing durability with ease of handling on the water or shore. The decoys feature realistic motion silhouettes that rotate up to 145 degrees, creating subtle, lifelike cues as wind and water gently influence their stance. Together with the familiar drake and hen poses, they help create a believable flock impression across the spread.

Why this setup may work for you

In real-world use, movement, color, and arrangement matter. The Flats lineup provides visual variety with drake walkers and drake feeders alongside hen walkers and hen feeders, enabling you to craft a believable mix that may attract curious mallards from different angles.

• LIGHTWEIGHT AND DURABLE: 1300g corrugated plastic keeps the decoys easy to carry between locations.

• EASY HANDLING: Heavy-duty stake handles simplify putting out, adjusting, and picking up decoys in variable conditions.
• COMPACT STORAGE: The decoy profile is designed for compact end-of-season storage, supporting tidy packing.
• FULL 12-PACK: Includes 3 Drake Walkers, 3 Drake Feeders, 3 Hen Walkers, 3 Hen Feeders, plus 12 spring steel stakes for setup flexibility.

Durability and weather resilience

Lightweight does not mean fragile. The 1300g plastic is selected to withstand regular outdoor use while maintaining a lifelike silhouette under sun, wind, and rain. The non-flocked finish helps reduce snagging in brushy or marshy settings, while the color and texture read properly on various water tones.

• WEATHER-READY DESIGN: Built for day-long field use across seasons with minimal maintenance.
• COLOR AND CONTRAST: Silhouette styling helps ducks read the spread from distance and in calm or breezy conditions.

Setup, use, and storage tips

When you’re scouting or preparing for a morning hunt, these decoys offer quick setup and manageable transport. A compact layout lets you adapt to shoreline contours, and the included stakes are designed for stable placement in soft or wet ground.

With thoughtful organization, end-of-season storage becomes easier, and you can reassemble your field spread with confidence when conditions allow. While results depend on many factors, these decoys provide a versatile base for a flock of silhouettes that may complement your calling and positioning strategy.

Material and care

The lightweight corrugated plastic offers rigidity without bulk. The finish is non-flocked, which reduces snagging in marsh grasses. A quick wipe-down keeps colors legible and helps extend the life of the silhouettes between hunts.
