Higdon Outdoors Full-Size Goose Floater, Speck – Foam-Filled Decoy

Overview

The Higdon Outdoors Full-Size Goose Floater is a foam filled decoy designed to deliver buoyant performance and straightforward handling on waterfowl spreads. The full-size silhouette, paired with a speck variant, blends naturally into many waterfowl setups and helps create a believable presence on calm ponds, marsh edges, and shallow wetlands. The foam filled core contributes to stable buoyancy and helps the decoy maintain its upright stance as wind shifts occur during a hunt.

Key benefits

• Buoyant foam filled core keeps the decoy floating upright, even in light chop
• Rugged shell resists weathering and repeated handling across long field days
• Realistic silhouette and subdued tones aim to match natural plumage from a distance
• Versatile placement options work well in ponds, marshes, and edge spreads

Real-world uses

In field or pond setups, position these floaters at varied distances to simulate a moving flock. The lifelike profile, muted colors, and compact weight make placement and adjustments quick between dawn calls and waiting periods. Pair with other Higdon decoys to build a balanced, convincing flock impression.

Care and maintenance

• Rinse after use and air dry to extend life
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

Note on expectations: buoyant stability, realistic silhouette, and easy deployment are core strengths. Results vary with weather, light, and bird behavior, but this decoy offers a practical option to expand a waterfowl setup without overhauling an entire spread.
