When you want a realistic, high-visibility goose decoy in your spread, Higdon Outdoors Magnum Snow Goose Butt Decoys deliver. These oversized feeders are crafted for dramatic visual impact and dependable buoyancy on the water, helping geese notice your setup from farther distances.
Key benefits
- Oversized design for maximum visual impact and improved visibility at distance.
- Deep feather carving combined with UV paint for a convincing, lifelike look.
- Self-righting weighted keel supports quick, confident setup even in light wind.
- Short-stringing clip enables shorter lines in shallow water for a tighter spread.
- Two decoys per pack, ready to pair with existing callers and decoys.
- Ducks Unlimited official licensed product, reflecting a trusted partnership in waterfowl gear.
Real-life use and spread appeal
In field setups, these decoys emulate resting, actively feeding Snow Geese, contributing to a natural-feeding impression. The high-contrast coloration and detailed feather patterns reflect the water’s shimmer and nearby habitats, inviting birds to investigate your area rather than pass by.
Setup tips and best practices
- Use the weighted keel to keep the decoy upright in light winds; position at varied angles to suggest movement.
- Take advantage of the short-stringing capability in shallow water to keep lines tight and your spread compact.
- Combine with Higdon goose decoys to add depth and realism to your overall spread.
Why Higdon Outdoors
With over 25 years in waterfowl gear, Higdon Outdoors emphasizes durability, realism, and field-tested performance. This product is an official Ducks Unlimited licensed item, underscoring a trusted heritage in waterfowl hunting equipment.
