Description
Overview
Meet the Higdon Outdoors Standard Bluebill Floater Decoys, a six-pack designed for dependable setups on a wide range of water. Built with foam-filled bodies, these decoys stay buoyant and resilient through weathering, while a weighted keel helps keep each figure upright for quick deployment. Their compact size supports easier transport and storage, making the most of limited boat space without sacrificing realism.
What makes them stand out
- Realistic standard bluebill decoys that mimic natural postures and behaviors, adding authenticity to your spread.
- Foam-filled construction offers flotation durability and resistance to cracking in rugged conditions.
- Lightweight and packable design ideal for hunters who value portability and faster setup.
- Self-righting weighted keel ensures upright placement at varying water depths for fast deployment.
- UV detailed painting reduces glare and preserves vibrant color and feather realism season after season.
- A portion of your purchase supports wetlands conservation efforts, helping habitats waterfowl depend on.
Field use and practical benefits
In marsh or open-water scenarios, you can arrange a convincing flock with four upright drakes and two resting hens. The drakes catch light and movement, while the hens fill gaps for a natural-looking front end of your spread. The foam-filled bodies resist sinking if a stray wave or splash occurs, and the weighted keels simplify setup in shallow or moving water.
Packability is a clear advantage when space is tight aboard a small boat. The decoys are designed to be portable enough for quick trips to the marsh, and their detailed UV finish remains visually compelling through multiple seasons of use. A portion of proceeds goes toward wetland conservation, aligning practical gear with habitat-supporting goals.
