Jackall RV-Crawler Sand Frog Lure – 4.0in Floating, 1.1 oz

Overview

The Jackall RV-Crawler Sand Frog Lure is a large crawler bait engineered for demanding tournament-style fishing in tough water. Built around a deadthrow retrieve concept, this lure aims to deliver a deliberate surface rhythm that can prompt bass to respond. Its substantial size and distinctive profile help the presentation remain visible across a variety of water conditions, enabling anglers to time their retrieves with confidence.

In this revision, internal parts and the overall structure were reworked to increase the air chamber space inside the body, while wings were enlarged to boost surface movement. These adjustments were guided by extensive testing of materials, shape, and landing angle to balance durability with lifelike motion at the moment of entry and during the crawl. The result is a lure that emphasizes a crisp surface presence without sacrificing reliability.

The short travel distance yields a focused crawl that feels deliberate on the water. The action can deliver a lifelike cadence as the lure inches forward and then surges with a surface kick that can attract attention from bass patrolling the bite zone. Even under heavy chop or high pressure, the RV-Crawler is designed to maintain a strong surface profile, offering an option that stays visible as conditions shift. While outcomes vary, this design aims to provide a credible surface-oriented tool that can complement a range of retrieves.
