JB Lures LTB2-WHCH Lake Trout Bucktail Jig 2 oz – White/Chart Banana Head

JB Lures LTB2-WHCH Lake Trout Bucktail Jig - a versatile option for freshwater anglers

The Lake Trout Bucktail Jig from JB Lures is designed to pair with the trusted Lake Trout Tube series, creating a reliable two prong approach for lakes. The jig uses a curved banana head profile that helps it track smoothly as you work it through the water, while the bucktail hair adds body and a lifelike shimmer that mimics natural forage and movement.

Key design details you will notice on the water

• Banana head design enhances tracking and action at various depths
• Genuine bucktail hair adds body, flare, and realistic motion
• Mustad heavy duty hook plus a #4 treble stinger for strong, confident hookups
• Proven option that performs well on other freshwater species
• Available in three sizes and four proven colors

On the water, this jig is designed to perform with a straightforward retrieve or during slow, steady tugs near cover. The combination of the banana head and bucktail produces a compact silhouette with enough contrast to attract fish in cloudy or stained water, while the color set gives you flexibility to mirror local forage and water clarity.

Practical uses include casting near weed lines, trolling along drop offs, or drifting near submerged structure. The LTB2-WHCH is built to stand up to repeated strikes and rugged conditions, giving you a dependable tool for multiple seasons. Anglers may find it particularly effective during productive windows when Lakers roam shallow yet hold to structure in deeper zones. While results are not guaranteed, the jig offers consistent options to try across different lakes and seasons.

Why these details matter

The layered construction helps create a natural profile that moves with water currents. When paired with the Lake Trout Tube series, you gain a coordinated presentation that appeals to lake trout and other freshwater targets.

• Three sizes let you match depth and target accordingly
• Four color options help you adapt to water clarity and forage patterns
• Best fished near structure, weed lines or drop offs with a steady or varied retrieve
