Kalmbach Feeds Apple Flavored Deer Block, 20 lb – Apple Aroma and Energy for Wildlife

Overview

Kalmbach Feeds Apple Flavored Deer Block is a 20 lb supplement block designed to offer a convenient energy source for deer and other wildlife on your property. Crafted with a corn-forward base, it provides a tasty, energy-dense option during times when forage is less available. The apple flavor and aroma are designed to be inviting, creating a recognizable cue that may attract wildlife as they move through your area.

Why this block stands out

In wildlife feeding scenarios, scent and flavor play important roles in attracting animals. This block leans into that approach with a robust energy profile, making it easier for deer to take in meaningful portions during a single visit. The apple aroma adds a familiar cue that may help wildlife locate the feeding site during peak activity times like dawn and dusk.

• Energy-dense corn base supports daily activity and seasonal energy needs
• Apple aroma and flavor crafted to enhance attraction at common feeding times
• Easy to use with clear guidance to check locations and replenish as needed
• Contains added copper; not suitable for sheep

How to use

Place the block at a safe, accessible site that minimizes disturbance and avoids roadways. If you manage multiple sites, consider rotating blocks to reduce crowding. Replenishment should align with consumption patterns and seasonal animal activity to maintain steady access.

• Check feeding locations regularly to ensure accessibility and safety
• Replenish blocks as needed to maintain continuous access during peak seasons

Practical considerations

Real life use shows deer visiting feeding areas where the block is placed near travel corridors or water sources. The 20 lb size provides multiple feedings over weeks, reducing the need for frequent restocking. The block includes added copper to support mineral intake, while staying intended for wildlife use and not suitable for sheep.

Safety and compliance

Always check with local wildlife authorities before feeding and follow any local guidelines. Keep blocks out of reach of pets and non target livestock to avoid unintended exposure.
