Katsuichi Decoy Zero-DAN Worm 217 – 5/0, 7g | Precision Downshot Rig

Meet the Katsuichi Decoy Zero-DAN Worm 217, a compact decoy rig designed for precise, tactful water presentation. This model arrives Fallen Baku Rig-equipped with a zero-downshot system, pairing a weight-forward approach with a dedicated swivel and hook set. The two-worm pack feels light in hand, yet the action on the water hints at reliable bottom contact and clear bite cues.

Smart design for structured fishing

• Weight-forward sinker and straight-fall posture aim for tight entries near stakes and pilings, with the worm’s action aligning for a decisive response.
• DS-6 stick sinker design helps keep the rig compact through cover, supporting a sensitive fall and stable tracking even in pressured conditions.

The Zero-DAN setup uses a dedicated swivel and a downshot leader, keeping line pressure balanced as the worm works. The result is a rig that stays compact for finesse fishing while maintaining strong bottom sensitivity.

Small size, wider fishing possibilities

• The small profile supports finesse presentations across a wider range of scenarios, enabling more versatile targeting in zero-DAN setups.
• With balanced weight and action, the worm’s movement can time with the sinker’s position, offering a natural cadence across varying water conditions.

In practical water use, anglers often find this rig helpful for lingering near cover and structure. The lightweight weights reduce drag, while the worm’s motion remains legible through currents, allowing for subtle bite cues to be detected more readily.

Setup tips

• Rig the system with a light line and appropriate leader length to maximize sensitivity.
• Navigate through structure with a deliberate, slow retrieve to let the worm express its natural action.

Ideal for anglers seeking a versatile option that breathes through cover and structure, the Katsuichi Decoy Zero-DAN Worm 217 is ready for a variety of conditions. Each pack includes two decoy worms, designed to pair with the zero-downshot approach for a clean, efficient rig that can be tuned to taste.
