Enhanced on-deck safety for racing and cruising

The KONG Elastic Tether EVO Single in Yellow is a compact, resilient safety leash designed to keep you connected as you move across a swaying deck. Its elastic core helps absorb sudden tugs and maintains your balance, making transitions between stations smoother during races or dock-side maneuvers.

Key benefits and features

• Elastic loops and a flexible leash reduce abrupt shifts when the boat heels or rolls, supporting confident footwork on deck.
• Meets international sailing federation requirements for on-board safety standards.
• Dual-action aluminum alloy connector, elastic strap with a visible stress indicator, and stainless steel hardware for durability.
• Certified for single-user use to align with common crew practices and usage guidelines.
• Crafted in Italy with ISO 12401:2009 compliance, reflecting quality manufacturing.

Real-world scenarios

In racing or high-velocity sailing, crew movements between winches, lines, and seating positions demand reliable restraint without hindering mobility. This tether offers a controlled give, helping you stay connected while you focus on the task at hand.

• Races and training sessions where quick, measured steps matter.
• Docking, shifting between stations, and sail-handling under pressure.
• Performance sailing in choppy seas where a secure connection adds usable margin.

Care and usage tips

Choose the EVO Single for solo use on sailboats. Before every voyage, check the stress indicator and inspect the hardware for signs of wear. Clean with mild soap and water to preserve finish and corrosion resistance.
