KONG Temporary Lifeline Orange 20m – Easy-Install Horizontal Safety Line

Overview

Meet the KONG Temporary Lifeline Orange 20m, a portable horizontal safety line designed for temporary work at height. The bright orange 30 mm webbing is highly visible in busy work zones, helping crews track the line at a glance. The unit is rated to accommodate two people simultaneously, making it a practical option for collaborative tasks along rooftops, scaffolds, or facades. The system features a tensor that enables quick, single-operator installation, reducing setup time while maintaining tension and grip.

Smart design for fast, safe setups

One of the key design choices is that the lifeline is stitched to the carriage bag, contributing to tidy transport and less tangling as teams move between work points. The grip on the webbing is formulated to be firm without causing wear to the strap, preserving performance over multiple deployments.

• 30 mm high visibility webbing for easy identification
• Supports two workers simultaneously for shared tasks
• Easy single operator installation with a reliable tensor
• Webbing grip that avoids damage to the fabric
• Carriage bag is stitched to stay neat during transport

Two-person capacity expands workflow options when teams work along rooftops, scaffolds, or facades, with the flexibility to move quickly between work points. Connectors are not included; when selecting accessories, ensure end connectors and anchors are rated for a longitudinal load above 40 kN. Suitable models may include OVALONE CARBON Autoblock or Twistlock.

Practical tips and use cases

• Inspect the webbing for wear and tear before each use
• Pair with compatible anchors and end connectors rated for the task

With its crisp orange hue and robust build, the lifeline combines practical usability with on-site visibility. This ready-to-deploy option is well suited for temporary safety lines during height work, offering a potential improvement in workflow and situational awareness on the job site.
