Description
Overview
Meet the Lerutwis YG022, a lightweight, portable fly fishing rod designed for travel days and weekend getaways. Its retractable construction lets you shrink the rod to under 60 cm, so you can slip it into a travel bag, bicycle pack, or car trunk without fuss.
Four lengths, one reliable feel
The YG022 line-up spans 2.1 m to 3.0 m, offering a balanced, medium-hard action that pairs lightness with responsiveness. Whether you’re casting from shore, drifting a stream, or cruising a boat, the rod aims to keep fatigue low and control high.
- 2.1 m model: 210 cm, 6 sections, about 145 g, line weight 5#
- 2.4 m model: 230 cm, 6 sections, about 155 g, line weight 5#
- 2.7 m model: 270 cm, 7 sections, about 190 g, line weight 6#
- 3.0 m model: 305 cm, 8 sections, about 225 g, line weight 7#
These specifications suggest a versatile setup capable of handling a range of targets and environments, from small river perch to larger predators when paired with suitable tackles.
Durable components for smooth casting
The rod features high‑quality ceramic guides that resist corrosion and promote smooth line exit, helping you maintain a steady rhythm on the water. A CNC alloy reel seat provides strong, reliable lockup for the reel, while the cork handle is crafted to be ergonomic and comfortable through long sessions.
- Ceramic guide eyes for durability and smooth line release
- CNC alloy reel seat for secure, lightweight strength
- Ergonomic cork handle to reduce fatigue and improve grip
Ready for outdoor adventures
Designed with travel and leisure fishing in mind, the YG022 travels well in a backpack, a bike bag, or a car trunk. To maintain performance, rinse after use and dry thoroughly, especially if exposed to saltwater or grit.
Consider Lerutwis as a flexible partner for day trips, weekend escapes, or spontaneous river adventures. The YG022 line is a practical option when you want a compact, reliable fly rod that adapts to your plan while staying light in hand.
