Lew's Strike King Promodel 6XD Crankbait – Deep-Diving to 19 ft+, Chartreuse with Black Back, 1 oz

Overview

Meet the Lew's Strike King Promodel 6XD Crankbait, a deep-diving lure engineered to reach the water column where bass hide. The XD series features a distinctive curved bill that guides balance and power, enabling deeper and faster dives than typical crankbaits. The result is a streamlined, aggressive action that slices through currents and lets you cover water efficiently as you scan for active fish.

What sets this model apart is a new knock that circumvents the ordinary chatter. With free-floating rattle chambers housing a single solid rattle, the lure emits a deeper, more resonant sound that can draw strikes from curious fish even when they’re holding tight to cover. Premium finishes add a lifelike sheen that reflects light as you reel, helping the bait stay visible in varying water clarity.

Depth and balance matter here: the 6XD Promodel is designed to reach deep holds and structure, diving to 19 feet while maintaining a stable, consistent swimming action. The result is a lure that feels balanced in hand and true in water, offering a reliable platform for aggressive retrieves or patient pauses.

Key benefits at a glance

• Curved bill and balance enable deeper, faster dives
• Premium finishes for increased visibility and attraction
• Free-floating rattle chamber with one solid rattle for a deeper knock
• Deeper knocking sound that stands out in varied conditions
• Dives to 19 feet or more to access deep structure and drops

In practice, use a steady, medium retrieve to let the lure reach its target depth before varying speed or cadence. In clear water, let the light catch the finish and replay a natural pause; in stained water, rely on the deeper sound and profile to help the lure stand out. Built to withstand regular contact with cover, the 6XD Promodel keeps its balance and finish after each cast, so you can focus on where the bite might happen.

Real-world scenarios

• Probing deep pockets behind structure or along drop-offs where bass lurk
• Working weeds and thick cover with a countdown to depth and a steady retrieve
• Seasonal use in murky water where a strong, deep-knock presence helps visibility

Whether you’re pursuing trophy bass or expanding your deep-water options, the Strike King Promodel 6XD combines depth, sound, and finish into a compelling option for anglers seeking to reach deeper zones with confidence. It’s not a guarantee, but it is a thoughtful blend of features that can translate to more confident, productive days on the water.
