Loon Outdoors Ergo Bobbin - Black | Ergonomic Fly-Tying Tool for Precise Patterns

Meet the Loon Outdoors Ergo Bobbin – Black

The Ergo Bobbin updates a core tying tool with an ergonomic, powder-coated handle that sits naturally in the hand. Designed for comfort and control, this lightweight companion helps you work through threads and materials with a steady rhythm.

Crafted for versatility, the tube is built to adapt to flies of all shapes and sizes. The high gauge works well for detail work on small patterns, while the tube’s length provides confidence when tackling larger, more intricate designs. The result is a single tool that reduces the need to switch between implements during a tying session.

Ergonomic comfort you can feel

The updated design places a premium on grip and balance. The powder-coated handle minimizes slip and fatigue, inviting you to tie longer without sacrificing precision or feel. The Black finish offers a durable, understated look that holds up through regular use.

• Comfortable in hand
• Updated design
• Works with flies of all shapes and sizes
• No boundaries
• Does everything

Versatility in one compact tool

The tube’s high gauge is ideal for small flies where tight wraps and neat tails matter, while its generous length supports larger patterns without crowding the tying surface. This combination makes it a practical all-purpose choice for common tying tasks.

• Ergonomic handle reduces hand strain during long sessions
• Long tube handles larger patterns with ease
• High gauge enables precise control on small flies

Use cases range from delicate micro-patterns to more substantial, multi-material designs. While experiences vary, the Ergo Bobbin is positioned to support accuracy, comfort, and consistency across many tying projects. As with any tool, results will depend on technique, materials, and practice.
