LWANO D97 Flemish Twist Bow String — Handmade Fast Flight Replacement for Traditional Longbows & Recurve Bows

Overview

LWANO's D97 Flemish Twist Bow String is a handmade fast-flight replacement designed for traditional longbows, recurve bows, and other classic setups. Crafted with Dyna Flight material imported from the United States, this string balances high strength, durability, low creep, and vibration absorption to support a smooth, steady release. Its refined finish contributes to a quiet draw and reliable performance across practice sessions and outdoor use.

Key Benefits

• Excellent Performance: D97 offers high strength, durability, low creep, and low noise, trusted by archery professionals for traditional, longbows, and recurve bows.
• AMO Length and Fit: AMO length corresponds to bow length; the actual bowstring length is typically about 3 inches shorter. Fewer strings can yield a smoother shot, while more strings can provide additional power and distance.
• Endless Loop Design: The string ends are handmade into rings; the larger ring is for the upper limb and the smaller ring for the lower limb. It ships waxed and ready, helping extend life with proper waxing.
• Designed for Archery Enthusiasts: Improves shooting accuracy and consistency, reduces vibration and noise, and suits outdoor activities and hunting setups.
• Customer Service & Warranty: LWANO offers responsive support, with free warranty and replacements for quality issues.

Installation & Care

For recurve bows, install the larger ring on the upper limb and the smaller ring on the lower limb. The AMO length reference helps you select the right bowstring length; the actual string will be about 3 inches shorter. After use, wax the string with a high-quality bowstring wax to maintain tension and reduce creeping. The string arrives pre-waxed and ready to mount; store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Maintenance Tips

• Regular waxing after use or storage protects fibers and maintains performance, especially outdoors.
• Inspect for wear or fraying and re-wax as needed to extend string life.

Real-World Use

Archers report crisp tuning, reduced vibration, and a stable release. Outdoor enthusiasts value reliable performance in varied weather, with a bowstring that supports steady string alignment for consistent results during practice and field sessions.

Notes

AMO length refers to the bow measurement; the actual bowstring length is shorter by about 3 inches. The D97 string is designed for traditional, longbows, and recurve bows across a range of draw weights. Individual results may vary with bow and draw specifics.
