Action and what you’ll notice

When pulled, water flows through the head, sending the lure into a pronounced wobble paired with a noticeable rattle. The action is complemented by bubble trails that can help draw attention as the lure moves. This combination creates a lively, engaging presentation that can stand out in a crowded bite zone.

Use cases and fishing style

South Florida anglers often rely on cowbell style wahoo lures for long runs and fast retrieves. Inline trolling leads are not typically used with this style, so the lure is positioned farther back from the boat to maximize trailing action. A 16-ounce model works well at moderate to fast speeds, while heavier versions are better suited to higher speeds or longer trolling runs.

Performance notes

Speed and setup influence performance. The 16-ounce Sincero performs well up to about 14 knots, with heavier options available for faster trolling or extended deployments. The design emphasizes a balance of mass and configuration to invite strikes from big game species beyond just wahoo, while maintaining a reliable action across conditions.
