Malone Stax Pro2 Universal Folding Kayak Carrier (2 Boats) – Tool-Free Roof Rack

Two-kayak transport, made simple

The Malone Stax Pro2 Universal Car Rack Folding Kayak Carrier is designed to carry two boats securely on a wide range of cross bars. Crafted with rust-resistant aluminum posts and injection-molded nylon platforms, this system prioritizes stability and durability for weekend adventures and longer trips alike. The posts fold down for low clearance and better fuel economy when not in use, so you can navigate garages, carports, and loading zones with ease.

Key advantages at a glance

• Two-kayak capacity, with each boat up to 50 lb and up to 32 inches wide.
• Universal fit with JAWZ mounting hardware for quick, tool-free installation on round, square, or most factory oval cross bars.
• Stability and protection: foam stacker blocks cradle the boats, absorbing road shock and reducing movement during transport.
• Secure restraint: 12-foot load straps and bow/stern tie-downs keep kayaks steady from takeoff to touchdown.
• Low-profile folding design improves aerodynamics and simplifies storage when not in use.
• Rugged construction with rust-resistant aluminum and nylon platforms; backed by a lifetime warranty.

Stability, ease, and real-world use

On the highway or winding backroads, the Stax Pro2 maintains a confident stance thanks to its dual-post system and cushioned stacker blocks. The foam padding helps dampen minor road shocks, while the cam-style straps bite down firmly without adding bulk. In daily life, you’ll appreciate how quickly you can switch boats between vehicles or set up in a new location, thanks to tool-free assembly and a remarkably forgiving fit on most roof rack configurations.

Whether you’re planning a weekend paddle or a multi-boat expedition, the Pro2 design emphasizes versatility: it supports two kayaks side by side, and with additional straps and padding, you can adapt the setup for more boats on compatible cross rails. The result is a practical, long-lasting carrier that aligns with active outdoor routines and evolving vehicle needs.
