Overview

The Mammut Workhorse Keylock 6-pack combines thoughtful handling with a robust, weight-conscious design. Each quickdraw features a generously proportioned carabiner and an ergonomic shape that sits naturally in the hand, helping you clip and unclipped routes with confidence. The bright color accents not only look sharp but help you quickly identify gear at a glance during busy crags or gym setups.

Clipping comfort and handling

• Ergonomic carabiner body and a key lock nose reduce snagging and facilitate smooth clipping.
• Large gate and a ribbed grip zone on the straight gate support secure handling, even when chalky or damp.
• Vari-width sling offers a firm, non-slip grip for steady clip-in and clip-out motions.

Durability and wear protection

• Simple, robust carabiner design delivers a favorable weight-to-strength profile for repeated use.
• Polyester sling includes reinforced zones where wear is most common and a sling protector to keep the lower carabiner in place.
• A dedicated sling protector helps minimize movement-related wear and keeps the setup tidy on the rock or wall.

Design details and user experience

• A bright orange indicator shows the sling and protector are properly attached to the carabiner for quick visual checks.
• Hardware composition features aluminium and polyester for a balanced performance across routes and sessions.

These quickdraws are designed to be versatile for sport climbing, gym routes, and ascent-focused days. They offer practical benefits that can help streamline your clip-ins, while remaining faithful to the essential reality of climbing gear: effectiveness varies with use, conditions, and technique.
