Mares Sniper Alpha Speargun 75cm – Pneumatic, Aluminum Barrel, Circular Elastic

Meet the Mares Sniper Alpha Speargun, a compact pneumatic tool designed for serious spearfishers who value simplicity, reliability, and precise control. At 75 cm, it balances reach with maneuverability for reef work, kelp zones, and blue-water outings without overloading your setup.

Durability and performance come together in the Sniper Alpha. The external barrel uses a rigid 25 mm anodized aluminum profile that remains lightweight yet sturdy in demanding underwater environments. Stainless steel rod release and line release resist corrosion and wear, helping this speargun stay dependable through many dives.

The gun features a compact head with a 14 mm S-power circular sling made of pure latex. This sling is built to last and retain elasticity, delivering a strong, progressive thrust when you fire. The design also accommodates versatile techniques, including the option to pair with a vertical spiro reel for added retrieval flexibility.

• Meticulous design with a highly sensitive firing mechanism in reversed position for smooth operation
• 7 mm Tahitian shaft with a single wing harpoon tip for reliable engagement
• Ergonomic handle with a concave thumb surface that fits left and right hands and works with gloves

The Sniper Alpha is built for adaptability across environments and styles. Ambidextrous handling and reel compatibility expand your technique options, while balanced weight and compact geometry help you stay steady as you aim and recover. This is a tool that invites careful practice and thoughtful use, rather than a guarantee of results.

In real-world settings, you might scan reef edges with controlled, precise shots; navigate through kelp and surge with a predictable feel under pressure; or test longer shots in open water where maneuverability matters. The combination of robust materials, thoughtful geometry, and flexible setup points to a capable platform for varied spearfishing scenarios. Maintenance is straightforward—rinse after dives, inspect stainless steel components, and keep the barrel clean to maximize longevity.
