Megabass Vision Oneten Plus One Ito Tennessee Shad – Suspending Jerkbait with Out-Barb Hook

Overview

The Megabass Vision Oneten Plus One Ito Tennessee Shad carries the trusted Oneten lineage into a refined modern jerbait. Known for its aggressive yet controlled presence, this suspending lure is designed to perform at shallow to mid depths, delivering predictable action the moment it meets the water. While it’s named after a storied family of jerkbaits, the Plus One Ito Tennessee Shad variant adds its own distinct profile and balance, making it a compelling choice for anglers chasing aggressive strikes without overworking the lure.

From the moment the lure lands, its profile and balance invite a quick response from nearby bass. The jerk-twitch rhythm is as much feel as it is sight, rewarding steady, precise retrieves with a crisp, darting motion that can trigger reaction strikes in kleptomaniac-cover environments. The lure is built to keep the cadence tight and the pull consistent, so anglers can stay connected to the bite window without overacting the lure.

Key benefits

• Out-Barb Hook with fluorine coating for enhanced penetration and quicker hookups on short strikes.
• Suspending profile that remains in the strike zone, aiding deliberate, repeatable retrieves.
• Compact 4-1/3 inch body paired with a 1/2 ounce weight for balanced casting and feel during twitches.

How to fish it

Technique matters. Keep the rod upright, maintain a light line slack, and perform short, controlled twitches to coax the lure into action. The lure’s design supports quick reaction when a bass whips at the bait on landing, so a confident set can follow a strong strike signal.

• Depth and presence: The lure is capable of reaching up to ~9 feet, allowing targeting of mid-depth fish without sinking into heavier cover.
• Retrieval ideas: Use tight hops and short pauses to mimic a fleeing baitfish near structure or cover.
