Mirrolure 10MR-808 Mirro Prop Float Twitchbait – Black/Orange/Silver, 3in 1/2oz

Overview

The Mirrolure 10MR-808 Mirro Prop Float Twitchbait is a compact, action-forward lure crafted for responsive topwater and shallow subsurface encounters. At 3 inches long and weighing 1/2 ounce, it pairs a lifelike baitfish silhouette with a built-in prop that creates a lively wake on the surface. The Black, Orange, and Silver palette provides high-contrast flashes that stay visible across sunny and murky conditions, helping the lure stand out in a variety of waters.

Designed to be versatile in both inshore and near-structure settings, this lure invites curious strikes by delivering a combination of flash, buoyancy, and motion. The buoyant body helps keep the lure in the strike zone during retrieves, while the prop generates subtle surface disturbance that can entice wary fish to investigate.

Performance and design

From the moment you make contact with the water, the Mirro Prop Float Twitchbait exudes a lively presence. The prop pushes a gentle chop and a rhythmic splash, producing audible signals and a tactile feedback that anglers associate with a responsive lure. The finish’s metallic sheen adds depth and realism as light dances across the water, helping the lure mimic a fleeing baitfish and grab a predator’s attention when it matters most.

Retrieval ideas and angler tips

Try casting along mangrove edges, docks, or submerged structures where gamefish often lurk. A walk-the-dog or twitch-and-pause cadence can provoke surface strikes, while a steady, short retrieve keeps the lure within working range of cover.

• Cast to likely ambush points, then twitch the rod tip to spark surface motion
• Pause briefly after a few twitches to let the buoyant body rise and reset
• Vary speed to match local bait activity and water clarity
