Meet the Eldris: pocket-ready durability from Mora, Sweden

Designed for outdoor moments that demand reliability without bulk, Morakniv's Eldris pairs a compact 2.3 inch blade with a robust stainless steel edge that holds sharpness through everyday bushcraft tasks. The blade is 0.08 inch thick and profile-ground for stability, while the overall length is 5.6 inches and the knife weighs about 5.7 ounces with its polymer sheath. This thoughtful mix of materials and measurements makes Eldris a dependable companion for day trips and weekend treks alike.

Designed for handling in the wild

The ergonomic barrel shaped polymer handle features a soft friction grip and a finger guard, giving you confidence when you bring the tool into contact with wood, cordage, or food prep. The handle is comfortable and balanced, reducing fatigue during longer sessions and helping you maintain steady control in varied conditions.

One standout feature is the symmetrical polymer sheath. It’s designed for quick access and comfortable carry, regardless of whether you prefer a right or left handed draw. For kit expansion, the Eldris is compatible with the Morakniv Fire Kit for Eldris and the Morakniv Belt Loop for Eldris, Garberg, or Kansbol, giving you flexibility in how you carry it on your belt or pack strap.

Where this knife truly shines is in practical, everyday use. It’s well suited for camping marathons, light carving around a campsite, fishing prep, and backcountry chores where a compact tool can still perform with precision. The combination of a robust blade and a compact footprint makes it easy to stash in a pocket or pack pocket, ready when a task arises.
