Key features that adapt to your night
The bag combines engineering and comfort with several extractable benefits you may notice on your next trip:
- Second-generation Thermo Gill vents extend the comfort range with a multistage zipper system that helps regulate airflow across temperatures.
- Chevron baffle construction better compartments down for uniform loft and reduced down migration.
- Overstuffed with premium 800 FP hydrophobic down that is PFC-Free and 100% RDS certified, supporting humane treatment and traceability in the supply chain.
- Award-winning design updated for greater warmth retention and adjustable comfort across a variety of nights outdoors.
Materials, ethics, and care
The shell and liner are made from 100% recycled fabrics and are bluesign approved, reflecting a focus on sustainability without compromising performance. The down is hydrophobic to resist moisture and maintain loft, while the construction avoids harsh chemical treatments.

Real-world use scenarios
Ideal for shoulder-season climbs, hut-to-hut trips, and weekend camps where weight matters but warmth is essential. The Short length offers a compact footprint for smaller packs or snug setups in alpine shelters, while maintaining a comfortable loft on cooler nights.
Why consider this bag
Expect a balance of warmth, weight, and responsible sourcing. The Sonic Down invites you to imagine a night of restful sleep after a day of exploration, with flexibility to adjust your comfort as temperatures shift—without promising guarantees but highlighting what the design makes possible.
