Nemo Tensor Alpine Mountaineering Sleeping Pad - Long Wide | Lightweight Warmth & Quiet Comfort

The Nemo Tensor Alpine sleeping pad is designed for cold-weather alpine use, pairing a lightweight shell with three layers of suspended metalized film to create lasting warmth without adding bulk. The result is a compact pad that comforts the body through cold nights, whether you’re at base camp waiting for a summit or carving a path toward higher terrain.

Precision engineering for warmth, weight, and stability

The pad uses patent-pending Spaceframe baffles—low-stretch trusses that improve stability and minimize deflection. A plush 3 inches of upholstered loft cushions joints, while corrugated side bars help keep you centered without a pronounced edge. The fast-to-inflate, zero-profile valve lets you adjust firmness with micro-steps, and the included Vortex pump sack speeds inflation while keeping moisture out of the pad.

• Three layers of floating thermosphere metal foil deliver quiet insulation with a high weight-to-warmth ratio.
• Spaceframe Baffles provide stability and a quieter sleep surface than many competitors.
• Minimum weight around 0.5 kg and long, wide dimensions (193 x 63.5 x 7.6 cm) for generous sleeping space.

Smart inflation and packability

Inflation is controlled and fast, with a micro-adjustable valve and a pump sack that minimizes moisture transfer. When deflated, the pad folds down compactly for backpacking missions, leaving room for other essentials in your pack.

• Vortex pump sack enables quick setup without soaking the pad or your gear.
• Compact, packable form suits base camp and high-alpine trips alike.

Real-world scenarios and user ideas

Base camps, cold nights on approaches, and alpine bivouacs each offer different sleep demands. The Tensor Alpine’s blend of warmth, quiet operation, and space to move makes it a plausible option for those prioritizing comfort in demanding environments—without promising guaranteed outcomes.

Careful packing, dry storage, and mindful use can help you maximize performance across adventures.
